Implicit and hybrid methods for attribute weighting in multi-attribute decision-making: a review study

Attribute weighting is a task of paramount relevance in multi-attribute decision-making (MADM). Over the years, different approaches have been developed to face this problem. Despite effort community, there lack consensus on which method most suitable one for given problem instance. This paper second part two-part survey attribute methods MADM scenarios. The first introduced categorization five classes while focusing explicit methods. current addresses implicit and hybrid approaches. A total 20 are analyzed order identify their strengths limitations. Toward end, we discuss possible alternatives address detected drawbacks, thus paving road further research directions. with additional information category resulted coherent approach give effective solutions. Consequently, encourage development future preference information.
